Starting Jan 26th, the CDC, and The U.S. government will require all international airline passengers 2 years of age and older to show proof of a negative Covid-19 test before boarding flights to the United States. The results of the test must be from no more than 72 hours prior to departure.
The Aruban Government’s continues to do their utmost to provide a safe, organized and streamlined experience. As per the new requirement Aruba has procedures in place for any visitor needing to take a Covid-19 test while in Aruba as a requirement for re-entry to their country/state/city of origin.
Aruba has a modern infrastructure, state-of-the-art hospital and well-equipped medical facilities. Three certified laboratories in Aruba offer Antigen & PCR testing for outbound travelers. The facilities have ample test kits available and testing is priced between Antigen $50 & PCR - $75 and $126.
Appointments are easy to book with an average turnaround time for test results within 24 hours. The facilities offer a variety of options from making an appointment where you are staying or at their physical location to walk-ins without an appointment.
It is also very important to note that the Aruba Visitors Insurance ($30 USD per person) will cover all costs related to a positive Covid-19 test result such as quarantine, isolation and transportation. Pre-travel PCR testing is not covered by the Aruban visitor insurance. Please contact your insurance company to verify if they reimburse the costs of a fit-to-fly test.
