What paperwork do I need to fill in before travelling to Aruba?

As part of the process that allows admission to Aruba, the Aruba ED-Card (Embarkation-Disembarkation Card) needs to be filled in & approved. It is a mandatory step for every passenger traveling to the island of Aruba. The Aruba ED-Card form is web-based and can be completed from the comfort of your home.

Application is a quick and easy process.  After you complete your application, you can view your status online to make sure everything has been completed satisfactorily. And of course, it is free!

You can fill in the ED-Card as early as 7 days before you travel to Aruba.

Aruba Boutique apartments is not included in the list. What do i select?

Aruba has not yet added all accommodations on the island.  Please select private address, Calbas 3-G Noord Aruba

How do I change my reservation?

Please see your booking confirmation received from the channel where you have booked. For example, Expedia, Booking or reach out to us when you have booked via our website.

Why do I need to provide my flight number & arrival time?

We kindly request that all guests provide their flight numbers & arrival times so that we can monitor the incoming flights. This is in order to ensure that we are here even when your flight time changes. Please note: We may not be on-site outside of scheduled times.  It’s appreciated if you can send any updates via email to frontdesk@mailtoparadise.com

Can I request a specific apartment?

We will make every effort to accommodate our guest’s preferences. Our reservation system allocates apartments automatically based on occupancy. Therefore we cannot confirm a specific apartment until the day of your arrival. 

What bed types are available?

The penthouse and one bedroom-apartments have the option of 1 king bed or twin beds. Please reach out to us with your preference in advance of your arrival dates.

The stand-alone One-Bedroom Bungalow & Studio Bungalows have 1 queen bed. It is unfortunately not possible to make any adjustments to the bedding in these apartments.

All apartments are a maximum of 2 adults only. As a result, it is unfortunately not possible to add an extra bed.

Why do I need to provide my flight number & arrival time?

Do I need to rent a car?

Renting a car is highly recommended as it will give you the freedom to explore the island discovering all of the beautiful beaches and the hidden gems which you might otherwise miss. Feel free to reach out to us so that we can assist you in organizing the rental car.

What kind of airport transportation is available?

We highly recommend renting a car for your stay in Aruba. Aruba Boutique Apartments is a short 5 miles/ 8 km drive from the airport. Click here for detailed directions.

Another convenient option is taking a taxi. There is a designated area directly outside of the airport for taxis. The rate of a taxi is approximately $35 USD, and there is a surcharge of $3 USD for trips after midnight, on Sundays and Holidays. The taxi ride is approximately 5 miles/8 km drive.

From what time can I check-in?

From 3 PM on the day of arrival. When apartments are available, we will be happy to register you earlier.

What is included in the welcome package in the apartment?

The welcome package includes the essentials to get you started. 

  • coffee, coffee filters, tea, and sugar
  • 1 x roll of toilet paper & paper towels
  • salt & pepper
  • dish soap and a sponge

 

 

We are celebrating our honeymoon, anniversary, birthday during our stay. Can you arrange something special?

Is Wi-Fi available & what is the password?

Yes, we have furiously fast Wi-Fi available throughout the property.

Log-in details are provided at check-in.

Can we drink the tap water?

The tap water in Aruba is safe to drink. It meets the high standards of quality of the World Health Organization, the water is distilled in a saltwater desalination plant.

Please help us to reduce single-use plastics and re-fill your water bottle daily. 

Is there a BBQ on the property?

Yes, there is a gas BBQ/Outdoor kitchen available in the garden for all guests to use. 

Do you have laundry facilities?

Laundry facilities are available on the property, for $5 per load.

Using the laundry facilities free of charge is an extra perk for those guests who have booked via our website.

Have you booked via a different channel? No worries, it’s always possible to re-book via our website for better rates and extra perks. Don’t miss our free lunch at a local bistro.

What voltage is available in the apartments?

110-volt electricity plugs are available in all apartments.  

At what time do I need to check-out?

By 10 AM, please note that late check-outs are subject to availability.  Should a late check-out not be feasible it´s possible to store your luggage in a designated area until your departure. Please remember to make arrangements beforehand.

Late Checkouts

  • Past 10 AM: Extend to 1 pm departure as a courtesy based on availability.
  • Past 1 PM: $50 for late checkouts until 4 PM. Note, late departures are subject to availability.
  • Past 4 PM: at a cost of a full night stay, with departure the following morning at 10 AM
What is the check-out process?

Please leave the keys, remotes, cooler and beach chairs in the apartment.

We will meet you at the agreed check-out time.

Do you provide a daily cleaning service?

We offer self-catered apartments with a lot of space and privacy.  For guests staying 6 nights or more, a complimentary cleaning is included once every 3 to 4 nights. Extra cleaning moments are available for a surcharge. Please contact us for more information.

What kind of services do you provide?

We offer self-catered apartments with a fully equipped kitchenette. You will, therefore, have a lot more space and privacy compared to an average hotel room. A local island guide is available, for any assistance and questions you might have during your stay about the apartments, or the island.

Please be kindly advised that we do not provide a daily cleaning service. A complimentary cleaning service is offered when you stay 6 nights or more. Extra cleaning moments are available for a surcharge.

This also applies to linen and towels. At Aruba Boutique Apartments, we do our best to be environmentally friendly, therefore your towel and linen change will be included in the weekly cleaning.  Please contact us for more information.

Should I bring my own bed linen and towels?

All apartments are provided with bed linen and one large bath towel and one large beach towel per guest and two towels in the kitchen. Note that wash clothes and hand towels are not provided. Please be kindly advised that your towels are only refreshed when you stay for 6 nights or more. If you wish for extra towels and/or linen please contact us beforehand. Additional charges may be applicable.

Why aren't wash clothes provided?

We offer modern self-catered apartments based on a European concept. As a result, washcloths are considered a “personal item” and for this reason are not supplied in the apartments.

Are Pets allowed?

We wish! Unfortunately, the Aruba Boutique Apartments are not suitable for animals, and bringing your pet is not allowed.

Is there a concierge service?
We are more than happy to assist you with information and reservations for activities, car rentals, restaurants etc. Please feel free to email or call us with your questions/requests. Or reach out to us after arriving so that we can help to make your trip unforgettable.
Do the apartments have hot water?

Yes, all apartments have cold and hot water in the kitchen and bathroom.

Is parking free?
Private gated parking is available on the property free of charge to all guests. Please note that users of the car park do so at their own risk. Aruba Boutique Apartments does not accept any responsibility for any damage, accident, or lost/stolen/damaged items.
Do you serve breakfast?

We offer apartments with a fully equipped kitchen and refrigerator so that you can prepare your favorite breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Aruba Boutique Apartments does not serve breakfast.Grocery stores are nearby where you can find all of your favorite ingredients.  The best local spots for breakfast are included in the app for your reference.
